The Sabri Ülker Center for Nutrient, Genetic, and Metabolic Research exists to advance scientific understanding of the fundamental mechanisms that govern metabolism and its intricate relationship with human health and disease. We are mid-way through the first decade of discovery made possible by the generosity of the Ülker family and Foundation, and the continued contribution of our laboratory to the understanding of the cellular and molecular mechanisms that underlie chronic metabolic diseases.
